Oak Ridge Team Breaks State Record

We are proud to announce that on Tuesday September 1st, 2009 a team from our L.E. Hart Memorial League broke the Tennessee state record for 4-man series

The Flipping Monkeys broke the old mark of 2974 with a 2989!

Youth League Update

Our youth league started up again this past Saturday.  We have 31 bowlers so far, and a few new ones will be joining us this upcoming Saturday.

Greetings Bowlers,

A new season is upon us. Your association would like to share with you the tournament schedule that we have proposed for this year. We are starting out the year with a bang, under new guidelines. Be sure to share with your bowling friends from out of town that we want to see them come back this year.
Dates Tournament Type Eligibility
12/05/09 - 12/06/09 City Senior Singles, Doubles, Teams Oak Ridge Men and Women ages 50+
*Sponsor Deadline:10/03/09
01/16/10 - 01/17/10 Mixed Doubles Man/Woman mixed teams Oak Ridge Men and Women
*Sponsor Deadline:11/14/09
02/20/10 - 02/21/10 City Open Singles, Doubles, Teams Oak Ridge Men and Women
02/20/10 - 02/21/10 City Women’s Singles, Doubles, Teams Oak Ridge Women only
*Sponsor Deadline:12/19/09
03/06/10 City Youth Singles, Doubles, Teams Oak Ridge Youth
*Sponsor Deadline: 01/09/10
May/June (TBA) Bowl for Autism Teams Open to members and non-USBC members, youth and adult

*We are looking for tournament sponsors to donate prize fund money or prizes.

Looking for Tournament Sponsors

We are implementing a new Tournament Sponsorship program this year.

The goal is to bring in more prize money and prizes for all of our tournaments and promote our local business community in the process.

If you work for a company that may want to sponsor a tournament or would like to find sponsors, please print out our sponsorship flyer.

All sponsors receive:

• Name, logo and link display on ORUSBC.org

• Vocal Recognition to all bowlers at start and end of tournament

• Advertisement on sponsorship flyer received by all tournament bowlers

Gold Level (Primary Sponsor)

• $250 or more

• Limited to 1 Sponsor per Tournament

• Name in title of the tournament

• Prominent banner display at the event

• Listing on Tournament Entry Flyer which is given to all league bowlers at Oak Ridge,

and to bowlers in Clinton, Oliver Springs, Knoxville, Crossville, and surrounding

areas

Silver Level

• $100 - $250

• Banner display at the event

Bronze Sponsor

• Donation of prizes and awards
