Friday, July 31st, 2009Summer Youth Update
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009Oak Ridge’s Youth Program is undergoing changes this summer to boost participation and overall experience.
We welcomed 9 new league bowlers this summer, which is tremendous. We hope to see even more brand new bowlers this Fall after we start our next marketing campaign.
This summer we started using the Bowling Rocks video learning series from USBC. Each week, 30 minutes before league starts, we have an optional session for bowlers who want to watch a lesson from the video and then practice the lessons with our coaching staff. We plan to repeat the video series every season and to also implement a more advanced video series for our more experienced bowlers.
